A pending Class Action Lawsuit has been filed in a California Court against CSRT International INC, CRST iNC and CRST Van Expedited Inc for violating California Wage and Labor laws, stemming from the unlawful deduction of wages in their Per Diem Program. All Qualifying Truck Drivers that work, or have worked for CRST have been mailed letters to opt out of the class action lawsuit. No action is required if you want to participate in this case. On April 12, 2016 the Court issued an order providing that the Per Diem Claims against CRST could be litigated as a class action on behalf of two classes of claimants a Per Deim Class and a Restitution class the two classes are defined as follows:
- Per Diem Class: All persons who, at any time since January 8,2007, resided in the State of California, were employed as a truck driver by CRST, and who participated in CRST’a Per Deim Program.
- Restitution Subclass: All persons who, at any time since January 8, 2006, resided in the Sate of California, were employed as a truck driver by CRST, and who participated in CRST’s Per Diem Program
